ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Salah has confirmed he has not yet received a contract extension offer from Liverpool. As time ticks on, concerns over his long-term commitment to the Reds have grown. If the Egyptian forward does not sign a new deal before January 1, he will be free to engage in pre-contract negotiations with foreign clubs ahead of a potential summer move.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
PSG are in search of a marquee signing to fill the void left by Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer earlier this year. French publication has reported that Salah is open to joining PSG, with transfer talks already underway, however, Al-Khelaifi has now come out to rubbish those claims.

WHAT AL-KHELAIFI SAID
In an interview with Al-Khelaifi cleared the air and said: "It’s not true. He’s a fantastic and amazing player, but we’ve never considered him, to be honest. We know every club would love to have him, but this rumour about us is simply not true.”

DID YOU KNOW?
PSG reportedly targeted Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the summer transfer window, but failed to close a deal for either player. Athletic Club winger Nico Williams has also been strongly linked with a switch to the French capital, and Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that PSG are likely to be active in the January transfer window. He added: "If there’s an opportunity, we will of course explore.“
